The LAD+ system is modular, customizable, and expandable even after the initial installation.
LAD+ sanitizes air, surfaces, and objects in the environment, eradicating viruses and bacteria without any forced air movement, thus avoiding the suspension of dust and its contents present in the environment.
LAD+ sanitizing units reproduce the sun’s sanitizing effect indoors using specific combinations of UV rays, selected and tested by us at accredited institutions, ensuring complete safety for humans and animals.
LAD+ is designed to ensure the healthiness of environments autonomously without human intervention. The system automatically switches between different operating modes.

Lad+D
The effectiveness of LAD+ sanitation and VitaD technology, for complete and daily well-being
LAD+D integrates VitaD technology, capable of stimulating the natural production of vitamin D, with adaptive and automatic sanitation, thus offering a unique solution for the well-being of people in indoor spaces.
The SanD Units, which make up the LAD+D system, emit light at specific wavelengths that stimulate the natural production of vitamin D, just like sun exposure, but without risks.
The operation of VitaD technology is automatic and activates only in the presence of people thanks to the sensors integrated into the SanD Units.

The system operates automatically and autonomously. However, some modes can be activated/deactivated remotely via the dedicated Web App.

The Sanitation units and SanD units are compact and easy to install. They can be ceiling-mounted at a height between 2.5m and 6m or replace ceiling panels. The aesthetic impact in the environment where they are installed is minimal.
Cost-effective
Once installed, the system does not require: consumables, labor, or filter replacement. Energy consumption is limited and optimized. It is designed for a lifespan of over 30,000 hours of operation.

It is also demonstrated that certain UV wavelengths initiate the natural cutaneous synthesis of vitamin D in the human body.
LAD+ has implemented this knowledge into a system that uses and combines specific types of UV rays, maximizing the sanitizing effect and vitamin D synthesis in full compliance with the EN62471 – PHOTOBIOLOGICAL SAFETY standard.
The LAD+ system has three different operating modes, and each mode uses
specific combinations of UV rays with varying intensities.
The LAD+D system, in addition to having three different modes dedicated to sanitation, automatically activates the VitaD technology only when people are present in the area.
The Sanitation Units and SanD Units are equipped with two presence detection sensors.
The sensors use different detection technologies and operate autonomously.
The transition between different operating modes occurs as soon as one of the two sensors detects the presence of people or animals.
It activates automatically in the presence of people and functions to reduce the amount of viruses, bacteria, and other organic substances introduced into the environment by the people present. This mode uses a combination of low-intensity UV rays and corresponds to the amount of UV rays emitted by the sun at 8 AM on a summer morning.
It activates automatically in the absence of people. During the night, it performs complete sanitation of the environment. This mode uses a combination of medium-intensity UV rays. If the sensors in the Sanitizing Unit detect movement within the environment, the system automatically reactivates Containment Mode.
Activatable exclusively by the user in the absence of people, when air and surface sanitation is needed in less than 30 minutes. This mode uses a combination of intense UV rays. The system prevents the mode from starting in the presence of people or animals and immediately interrupts the cycle if movement is detected in the treated area.
It starts automatically in the presence of people and functions to activate the natural cutaneous synthesis of vitamin D in the human body. This mode uses a specific UV wavelength capable of activating the process, according to the Photobiological Safety standard.
LAD+ Testing
Scientific evidence of LAD+'s effectiveness against viruses and bacteria
The tests and measurements related to the safety and power of LAD+ conducted during product development were subsequently repeated at laboratories of accredited Italian Institutes.
The effectiveness of LAD+ technology was tested following specific protocols in full compliance with the scientific method.
The test protocols involved inoculating the same amount of pathogens in different plates on a favorable growth medium.
As required by the scientific method, some plates prepared in this way served as the “Positive Control,” meaning they were not exposed to the effect of LAD+ technology, allowing the pathogen to multiply naturally.

The verification of SARS-CoV2 virus inactivation was conducted at a laboratory authorized to handle the SARS-CoV2 virus.

Vitamin D Technology
Natural cutaneous synthesis of Vitamin D
Vitamin D production in the human body occurs primarily through the skin during exposure to the sun’s UV rays. Our patented and certified VitaD technology reproduces the wavelengths that activate this biological process, safely.
Cutaneous synthesis covers about 80% of the vitamin D requirement, while the remaining 20% comes from diet or supplements.
With cutaneous synthesis, there is no risk of vitamin D overdose as the biological process is self-regulated and stops when the necessary amount is reached.
The optimal exposure to the sun’s UV rays to activate cutaneous synthesis occurs when the sun is at its highest point, which is at noon. Just 15 to 30 minutes of direct daily exposure without the use of protective creams is enough to start this biological process.
Our VitaD technology activates the natural production of vitamin D through cutaneous synthesis, avoiding the risk of sunburns and unintentional overdoses. When used daily, it helps the proper functioning of our body:
it contributes to calcium absorption, strengthens bones, supports the immune system, and participates in numerous fundamental biological functions.

In multiple installations with connection units, the LAD+ and LAD+D system is designed to manage the activity of the devices, optimizing their use in terms of effectiveness in the environments.
Number, type, and models are defined based on the specific project and are composed as follows:
Sanitation Unit or SanD Unit
Sanitizing Units or SanD Units installed in rooms based on square footage, furnishings, lighting results, occupancy rates, and aesthetic and functional requirements
Real-time view
Connectivity unit for data management and processing of the sanitation index obtained in the environments and management of the system's general settings (alerts, diagnostics, data history, operating percentages, irradiation levels, etc.)
Remote supervision console
Displays the operating mode, history, and management of certain commands. It can be Virtual with display via a dedicated URL on Mobile, Tablet, PC or physical thanks to the touchscreen panel installed on-site.
LAD+ and LAD+D Configuration
From project to complete and healthy sanitation
The two proposed configurations have been designed for the widest range of use.
Single Sanitizing Units or SanD Units: easy to install and connected to the home Wi-Fi network for management through our web app. A single sanitizing unit covers an area of 25 square meters.
Multiple Sanitizing Units or SanD Units: for sanitizing single large environments or multiple environments in the same building. Installation is done with a wired network and the inclusion of a connection unit for remote management of the entire system.
For public or large environments, Nature Light offers a simulation service to define the correct positioning of the Sanitizing Units or SanD Units, thanks to dedicated software developed for this purpose.
